During the age of Azema, the Kaiika and Frost Giants lived under the rule of the Flayers.

Abilities
Flayers were known as “masters of fire and ice”. They possess the ability to melt or freeze water to suit their needs, allowing them to sculpt entire cities from ice.
They are capable of reading minds and launching psychic attacks on those they deem to be a treat. Erasing memories of their enemy can be a slow and painful process.
The are able to use their psychic abilities to control the actions of other sentient beings.
