The bed chambers of [[taron|King Taron]] in [[sabek_palace|Sabek Palace]]. A four poster canopy bed sits in the center of the room. Beneath it lays an ornate rug. Lamps are situated in the room to offer light in the evenings.

Entering the room, you find [[taron|King Taron]] prepared to leap through the rift he has created above his bed. 

Across the room, [[grayfolk|Grayfolk]] have appeared through the rift. It appears they may have come to take Taron with them into their [[affril|plane]].

  * Stand back and wait to see what happens.
  * Join the [[king_s_guard|Palace Guard]] in defense of your king.

Regardless of your choice, [[taron|King Taron]] will make his way through the rift, leaving you behind in his empty chambers.

[[taron|King Taron]] and his [[king_s_guard|guards]] have been frozen in place. [[taron|Taron]] is prepared to make the leap through the rift over his bed. He carries a white box containing a [[durgolium_tuning_fork|tuning fork]] and strange looking jar full of [[gray_matter|gray matter]].
