====== Sentry ======

Automated maintenance and defense system in the [[gurlung_colossus|Gurlung Colossus]]. Powerful, but slow, a sentry is programmed to defend at all cost, even its own survival.

While unthreatened, a sentry will perform its primary programming.

Designed and programmed by [[gulpax|Gulpax]], they are fiercely loyal to her and her programming. Notable creations include [[alpha-zero|Alpha-Zero]] and [[b-143|B-143]]

==== Gurlung Colossus (RPA-ADV9)====
Upon entering the Colossus, you and your party may encounter sentries throughout the dormant mechanical creation.


**[[steel_lungs|Steel Lungs]]**

Sentry 4 may be found here, clipping vines with a pair of shears.
  * Fight the sentry.
  * Try to pull the rusty lever on its back.
  * Observe the sentry for some time.

**[[dragonhide_heart|Dragonhide Heart]]**

You may find Sentry 4 at the counter, chopping up green and yellow leaves, much like those found near the [[steel_lungs|steel lungs]]. 
  * Fight the sentry.
  * Try to pull the rusty lever on its back.
  * Scale the walls of the chamber and hide.

**[[antechamber|Antechamber]]**

Sentry 4 will attempt to serve tea to the skeletal remains of a [[gnome|Gnome]]. Finding a [[crystal_flute|flute]] nearby, you can play a tune from a nearby sheet of music.
  * Confusing the sentry, now may be the time to attack.
  * Continue playing the tune while you move to its back and pull the rusty lever.
  * Pretend to be the [[gnome|Gnome]] and drink the tea.

**[[engine_room|Engine Room]]**

Five rusted out sentries are lined up in a row, their central power supply removed. A sixth space is empty.

If you managed to pull the lever on its back, Sentry 4 will be found in the [[engine_room|engine room]], sweeping up red sand. It eventually climbs into the open space and "sleeps" giving you a chance to examine the [[construct|construct]] more closely.
==== Arcazion Pit (GS-ADV7) ====
Located close to the nearly completed [[gurlung_colossus|Colossus]], a sentry delivers glass flasks of [[ashen_cells|ashen cells]] into its midsection. Using metal bands, the he welds them in place on the interior of what would be the abdomen of the [[gurlung_colossus|Colossus]].

Due to previous choices and alliances, you will be faced with a decision:

  * Allow your allies the opportunity to destroy the sentry.
  * Fight to defend the sentry so that it may go about its programmed tasks.

If the sentry is destroyed, [[gulpax|Gulpax's]] plans for the [[ashen_cells|ashen cells]] will be thwarted.
