Young [[halfling|Halfling]] girl that is missing from Jolev and the daughter of the [[dunegrass_family|Dunegrass family]]. She is later found having been taken in and cared for by the very [[giant_troll|Giant Troll]] [[taron|King Taron]] ordered slain.

Esther is reported missing upon first arriving at the [[halfling|Halfling]] town of [[jolev|Jolev]]. After tracking down the cave of the [[giant_troll|Giant Troll]], Esther is found, sick with fever;

>//Sneaking up to the cave and peeking in, you see a young [[halfling|Halfling]] girl lying on the cave floor. She appears weak, suffering from some curse or illness.// - Taron's Trophy (RPA-ADV2)

Depending on prior interactions with Urka and the events that transpire at the cave with [[songak|Songak]], you will further establish yourself as a loyal member of the [[king_s_guard|King's Guard]] or become more sentimental to the [[dragul|Dragul]]. When Esther is returned safely home to [[jolev|Jolev]], the town healer is able to cure her, and the joviality of the town is restored.
